The heart of it
Every puppy and kitten is unique, with its own pace and needs. What works perfectly for one can be too much, too little or simply not right for another.
In this period the body grows at lightning speed, while the immune system, digestion and behaviour develop at a high pace too. That is exactly why attention to food and lifestyle matters so much now. Growing animals have extra needs in many areas, and it is good to look at them.
With the right guidance you can choose, from the very beginning, food that supports, strengthens and contributes to a healthy, balanced start. So your puppy or kitten doesn’t just grow well, but can truly flourish, with a good foundation that keeps supporting its health.
Who it’s for
Is this for you?
For owners who want to look after the health and nutrition of their puppy or kitten consciously, and who, through all the conflicting information, long for clarity, calm and guidance that thinks along.

You have a puppy or kitten and want to be sure the food suits this important growth phase.
You want the food to match its energy needs, digestion, activity level and any sensitivities.
You would like personal guidance and practical handholds.
Someone who thinks along, understands your situation and helps you make choices that truly suit your animal.
You like having a safety net for questions in between.
Whether it is about food, enrichment, supplements or daily balance, you want someone who is reachable and looks along with you.
You need practical, achievable and realistic advice.
No complicated schedules or unnecessary products, but advice that fits your life and that of your animal.
Made to measure
What’s included.
A solid food base for this growth phase, and the puzzle pieces around it, with all my love and passion poured into a quality advice report for you.
Analysis of the current food, and renewed advice
I take a fresh, independent look at your young animal’s current food and share my view on what goes well and where improvement is possible, based on what I learned in Kelly Cogen’s training in natural medicine and nutrition for animals. Whether you want to optimise what you already give or are looking for a new, suitable food, together we find what fits best. You are also welcome if you would like help choosing a food before your puppy or kitten arrives.
Functional toppings and supplements, made to measure
Which extras could support your puppy or kitten in this important growth phase, and optimise the base food? Natural toppings that help a digestion still in full development, ingredients that contribute to an immune system that is still developing too, or supplements that add a little extra balance where needs are higher. No unnecessary products, only targeted additions that are practical and achievable in daily life.
Wellbeing advice
Food is an important foundation for good health, but from an integrative view there is more to look at when we want to support young, growing animals. Together these puzzle pieces complete the picture on top of a good food base. Even if you can’t implement everything straight away, every little bit can make a difference, applied in your own way, without stress or pressure.
- Lifestyle and structure
- Physical and natural-medicine support, where relevant
- Enrichment
- Educational content on oral health, vaccinations and titre testing, faecal testing and deworming, and more
Truly made to measure
Young animals change fast, and their nutritional needs change with them. That is why I advise checking in regularly during the first year, to see whether the advice needs adjusting. We can do that with single consults in between, which you can book separately at a reduced rate. For short questions you can reach me by WhatsApp or email.
How it works
From question to clarity.
Calm, clear steps, with room for your questions along the way.
Start with a free intro callIntake
After booking you receive an intake form. Once it is filled in, we plan a contact moment to go through everything, and I tell you exactly what to expect. Living in South Limburg or Belgian Limburg? I can also come to your home if you like.
Your advice report
I work out your nutrition and wellbeing advice and email it to you as a PDF within 5 working days at the most, complete with background information and attention to your specific wishes, budget and more.
Extra questions (optional)
Questions about the advice you received? We plan a short contact moment to clarify anything, or to fine-tune the plan before you get started.
Follow-up
If needed, we plan another moment later on, once you are under way and perhaps run into something. Together we evaluate and adjust, so the plan keeps fitting your animal and your daily life.

Good to know
Important notes.
I don’t diagnose: your vet comes first.
No. My services are designed with healthy animals in mind, and I don’t diagnose. With complaints or illness, medical checks at the vet always come first. If you would like to work on feeding therapeutically alongside your vet, I can recommend a fellow integrative therapist. Once there is medical clarity, I’m happy to help optimise nutrition preventively.
Why check in during the first year?
Whether it is a growth spurt, a changing appetite, sensitivities that become visible or simply growing into the next life stage, the food should keep matching what your puppy or kitten needs at that moment. You never have to figure it out alone: I think along, explain clearly and help you step by step through this important period.
Can you help before my puppy or kitten comes home?
Yes. If you would like help choosing a suitable food before your new family member arrives, we can start there.
Let’s get to know each other
Curious what I can do for you both?
Plan a free, no-obligation introductory call, so we can calmly look at what suits you and your animal. Hopefully speak to you soon!
Love, Melissa
